DAY 1:

Arrival at Juan Santamaría International Airport, once passed passport control, one of our representatives will be waiting to help you locate your luggage and indicate where the driver will be to take you to the selected hotel.

DAYS 2-3:

After the personal breakfast at the lodge in Tortuguero, you will be met at the hotel to transfer you to the Tortuguero National Park, one of the most famous in Costa Rica. It is only accessible by plane (with an additional charge) or by boat, which is recommended because during the boat trip you can observe the great biological diversity of the area. Green turtles nest on the beaches of Tortuguero from July to October, but throughout the year you can see the variety of wildlife that exists in the area by taking part in the activities already included in the package.

DAYS 4-5:

Halfway through the morning we will start our trip out of Tortuguero, to El Ceibo Restaurant in Guapiles where, after lunch, one of our representatives will deliver your rental car before you depart for Puerto Viejo de Talamanca. Located near the border with Panama, on the southern Caribbean coast, Puerto Viejo is an ideal place to enjoy multicolored sand beaches, this area is surrounded by the Cahuita National Park to the south and the Gandoca Manzanillo Reserve to the north. Activities such as hiking, diving, cycling and horseback riding are available. Free days to enjoy the rich Afro-Caribbean culture, cuisine and music that give this beautiful area a special charm.

DAYS 6-7:

Departure in the morning to the surroundings of the Arenal Volcano National Park and the picturesque town of La Fortuna. The trip itself is an adventure, as it combines a car ride on one of the rural mountain roads with a one-hour boat ride through Lake Arenal. One of our drivers will be waiting for you on the other side of the lake to take you to the hotel. The area has hot springs and you will have enough time to enjoy activities such as hikes on hanging bridges, La Fortuna Waterfall or the National Park, rafting in nearby rivers, zip-line adventures or horseback riding, among others, or simply enjoy the breathtaking views from the hotel pool.

DAY 8:

On this day you will travel to the Monteverde Cloud Forest Biological Reserve located near the town of Santa Elena.  This area protects the biodiversity of the region and the water sources that supply several rivers in the country. You will have time to explore Monteverde where, in addition to other activities, you can also get a bird’s eye view of the forest canopy by way of hanging bridges or zip lines, as well as observe the great diversity of flora and fauna that the area offers.

DAYS 9-10:

Departure for the country’s Pacific coast where Manuel Antonio is located. Its famous National Park offers beautiful beaches surrounded by lush vegetation, both inside and outside the park. On these free days in the area you can combine relaxation on any of its beaches with some of the many activities available, such as nature walks, rafting, kayaking, zip-lining and sport fishing, among others.

DAY 11:

Departure to Juan Santamaría International Airport according to your flight schedule.
