The Tubing Adventure on Río Negro is to enjoy at the Hacienda Guachipelín and the bottom of the Rincon de la Vieja Volcano.
The hacienda is a working cattle and horse ranch and a thriving adventure center.
The region is covered with an almost extinct tropical dry forest. Depending on the time of year you visit, it might be luscious green, or dry and dusty; although it is always exciting and beautiful.
Your tour will start in the adventure center, where you will meet your guides. They will gear you up for the first part of the trip, a 45 minutes horseback ride through the hacienda, and to the river.
The horses are well behaved, well-treated and used to tourists. However, if you like to have a brisker horse, please let us know in advance so we might get any of the horses that work in the hacienda.
You might get to see monkeys, coatimundis, or other wildlife on the way, and without doubt, witness several species of colorful birds.
As you arrive in the river, your guides will give you instructions on how to handle the tubers as you will be on a free ride on the river. Tour guides around to ensure your safety.

Once at the river, you will enjoy a fun, thrilling, and fantastic ride on a fast and intense, yet not deep water flow.

You will be going down for a couple of hours until you arrive at an area where the river widens, at the end of your trip.
You will have a place to change clothes and travel back to the Adventure Center.
