You will begin the trip with a four-wheel-drive through primary rainforests that will give you the first adventurers’ sensations as you move on a bumpy road to a little town called El Silencio.
This community thrives amid the tropical wilderness with a great cooperative effort. Your tour guides will tell you the whole story.
As you get to the town restaurant, your guides will take your order for lunch. A great idea! Because on the way back and after the exercise you won’t want to wait for your meal.
It is also the last chance to use the restrooms before getting on the trip.
You will get back on your tour vehicle and arrive in the put in of the Savegre river rafting tour.
Your river guides will give you a helmet, a life-vest, and a paddle, and right after, one of them will give your group a briefing on safety and the guidelines to enjoy the tour.
Please make sure you understand everything. It is essential to follow all the instructions given as already on the raft; they will say the words for the team to follow.
Already on the Savegre river, your guide will be advising you what to do with the paddle, depending on the coming rapids.
The virgin rainforests around the river will take your breath away. You may even get go glimpse monkeys playing upon the branches, or a toucan flying from one edge to the other.
At half the trip, your tour guides will stop by a stunning, powerful waterfall for you to stretch legs and enjoy some fresh tropical fruits as well as the magnificent landscape.
After taking a necessary break from the raft, you will go back in the river to delight in the Savegre that, as it gets wider, will give you more chances to jump off the raft and simply float down with your face to the sun.
After a 13-mile journey down the Savegre, your transportation will be waiting for you to go to the small town El Silencio where you can change and enjoy a delicious typical lunch.
