DAY 1

Arrival at La Aurora International Airport for assistance and transfer to the hotel in Guatemala City.

DAY 2

Departure to the northeast of Guatemala, to cross the border to Copan, in Honduras. In the afternoon Visit of the Archaeological Site considered one of the most important in the Mayan World and its buildings.

DAY 3

You will visit the archaeological site of Quirigua until you reach Copan in Honduras, where there are large settlements of the Mayan culture such as temples and petroglyphs.

DAY 4

Transfer to Rio Dulce. In boat we will navigate Dulce River among tropical flora and diversity of birds. We will visit the Fort of San Felipe on the way, arriving in Livingstone with a walk through its streets. Later we will continue to the city of Flores.

DAY 5

Transfer to the airport to board the flight to the airport towards Tikal built during the classic Mayan period. In the afternoon return to the Visitor Center for lunch.

DAY 6

Transfer from Flores to Cobán, en route visit the indigenous village of Chisec, where the Mayan Qeqchi language predominates. Then continue to Cobán.

DAY 7

Transfer to Semuc Champey, is located in the municipality of Lanquín, on the Cahabón River. Due to the characteristics of the very humid subtropical warm forest there is an abundant variety of biodiversity. Return to Cobán.

DAY 8

Departure to the Biotopo del Quetzal, it is one of the most important tourist sites in the department of Purulha. It is the best example of a management system for the natural communities of subtropical mountain climates in the country. The reserve has more than 50 species of trees that grow up to 120 feet tall, including some specimens that are 450 years old. Transfer to Guatemala City.

DAY 9

Departure to the Chichicastenango market, in the Guatemalan central highlands. A visit to the Church of Santo Tomás to then go to Lake Atitlan with its volcanoes: Atitlán, Tolimán and San Pedro to finish with a panoramic view of Panajachel.

DAY 10

Departure by boat to the indigenous village of Santiago Atitlán, which is surrounded by volcanoes. Then there will be a visit to the church of Santiago Apóstol and the brotherhood of Maximón. Return to Panajachel and transfer to Antigua Guatemala.

DAY 11

Visit of Antigua Guatemala, full day, visit of the most important ruins of the Colonial City, declared Cultural Heritage of Humanity. In the afternoon visit of San Antonio Aguascalientes and Ciudad Vieja.

DAY 12

Transfer to the airport to board the regular flight to home.
