DAYS 1-3:

Arrival at Augusto Sandino International Airport in Managua, Nicaragua. Your driver will be waiting to take you to the beautiful colonial city of Granada, located on the shore of Lake Nicaragua where the islets formed after the eruption of Mombacho Volcano located south of the city. It is one of the most visited areas for the way they preserve the colonial buildings and adobe houses with charming interior patios. It is recommended to explore this town in a relaxed way, aboard a volanta (typical taxi of Granada). Free days to explore the area or add an optional activity.

DAYS 4-5:

We will leave after breakfast for Costa Rica, specifically to the cloud forest area of ​​Monteverde located near the town of Santa Elena. This area protects the biodiversity and water sources of the region that supply several rivers in the country. You will have free time to explore Monteverde, where, among other activities, you can walk through the canopy over hanging bridges or venture into the zip lines to get a bird’s eye view of the forest cover.

DAYS 6-7:

Departure in the morning to the surroundings of the Arenal Volcano National Park and the picturesque town of La Fortuna. The trip itself is an adventure, as it combines a car ride on one of the rural mountain roads with a one-hour boat ride through Lake Arenal. One of our drivers will be waiting for you on the other side of the lake to take you to the hotel. The area has hot springs and you will have enough time to enjoy activities such as hikes on hanging bridges, La Fortuna Waterfall or the National Park, rafting in nearby rivers, zip-line adventures or horseback riding, among others, or simply enjoy the breathtaking views from the hotel pool.

DAYS 8-9:

Early in the morning after a cup of freshly brewed coffee, one of our drivers will arrive at the hotel to take you to El Ceibo restaurant where you will enjoy a typical Costa Rican breakfast and meet up with the Tortuguero hotel staff to continue your trip to that destination. The Tortuguero National Park is one of the most famous in Costa Rica, only accessible by plane (with an additional charge) or by boat, which is more highly recommended as you will be able to observe this zone’s great biological diversity during the ride. Green turtles nest on the beaches of Tortuguero from July to October, but throughout the year you can see the variety of wildlife that exists in the area just by taking part in the activities already included in the package.

DAYS 10-11:

Halfway through the morning we will start our trip out of Tortuguero, to El Ceibo Restaurant in Guapiles where, after lunch, you will continue in a different transport unit to Puerto Viejo de Talamanca. Located near the border with Panama, on the southern Caribbean coast, Puerto Viejo is an ideal place to enjoy multicolored sand beaches, this area is surrounded by the Cahuita National Park to the south and the Gandoca Manzanillo Reserve to the north. Activities such as hiking, diving, cycling and horseback riding are available. Free days to enjoy the rich Afro-Caribbean culture, cuisine and music that give this beautiful area a special charm.

DAYS 12-13:

One of our representatives in the area will arrive at the hotel to take you to the border of Costa Rica with Panama, where after crossing it on foot (100 meters approximately) you will board a different transport unit and finally, a motorboat for a relaxing, hour-and-a-half long trip to the Bocas del Toro archipelago in Panama. This area is composed of about 6 large islands and many smaller ones. Isla Colón is where most of the activity is concentrated, you can find small hotels of Caribbean influence. A visit the coral reefs is highly recommended, where you can deep-sea dive in the ​​crystal clear waters. Free time to rest or take the opportunity to see dolphins in their natural habitat.

DAYS 14-16:

We will take you to the local Bocas del Toro airstrip to get a flight to Panama City and finally a short drive to your hotel. Panama offers a wide range of activities, and its beautiful architecture stands out in the area, from the modern and contemporary to the old part of town. Free days; we recommend that you visit the ruins of Panama Viejo, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, the famous Panama Canal and its locks, take one of the many shopping tours or visit one of the nearby beaches.

DAY 17:

According to the departure time of the flight, we will take you to the Tocumen International Airport.
