Welcome to Costa Rica!
As you leave the Juan Santamaria International Airport, our driver will be waiting to take you to the hotel. Take this opportunity to ask him or her what you need to know, and if you want to communicate with our offices, he will take care of it.
The Juan Santamaria International Airport is in the Great Metropolitan Area, where the main cities of Costa Rica and the most populated part of the country are located.
San Jose, the capital, is a contrasting city, between culture and eclectic architecture, small but vibrant, it is worth a walk along its boulevards and visit the museums of pre-Columbian art (especially the Gold and Jade museum), the Plaza de la Cultura, and the unfailing Central Market.

Upon arrival, at the Airport and after passing passport control within the facilities, a representative of Costa Rican Chamber of Tourism (CANATUR) will be waiting for you with a sign with your name and will tell you how to locate the Asuaire driver that will take you to the hotel.

DAY 2
Tortuguero
Tortuguero National Park is in one of the most popular of Costa Rica, place only accessible by air (additional cost) or water through its stunning canals. Where you will be amazed by its exuberant vegetation and abundance of birds and animals, is well worth the boat trip.
Between July and October is the nesting season for the turtles.
On this day you will depart early in the morning (previously indicated) with your transportation and certified guide and drive through the breathtaking Braulio Carrillo National Park all the way to the region of Guápiles where you will enjoy a typical Costa Rican breakfast.
Following, you will travel through banana plantations and picturesque villages until you arrive to the dock where your boat will be waiting for you.
As your boat departs the dock, you will start witnessing the amazing canals and forests that make this remote area one of the most visited by nature lovers from all over the World.
As you arrive, a fresh fruit cocktail awaits you with the guidelines of your stay in the region. After your included lunch buffet, your tour guide and captain will take you to the village of Tortuguero. A unique town that has no cars, roads, or traffic signs.
You will be able to visit the Turtle Museum, see the beach where the turtles arrive every year and have the opportunity to go to the grocery store and get whatever you may need.
It is important to acknowledge that Tortuguero is a small village and you may not find specific items such as medicines.

DAY 3
Tortuguero
You will start this day to the sounds of howler monkeys, toucans and other wonders of the area. Your tour guide and skipper will take you by boat into the Tortuguero National Park where you will be delighted in the breathtaking nature of the area.
You may see three different species of monkeys (howlers, spider monkeys and capuchin white faced monkeys), several types of herons and egrets, toucans, and if you are lucky you may even see sloths, anteaters, and neotropical otters.
Later in the day you will have more time to take it easy and enjoy the splendor of the rainforest right by the swimming pool, or take an optional trip in kayak, or a walk through the jungle.
In the evenings between July and October you may join a tour to watch the amazing green sea turtles nesting on the Tortuguero National park beach. This excursion has an additional cost and can be booked once you are in the area.

DAY 4
Tortuguero
On this day you will enjoy your breakfast and leave the fascinating region of Tortuguero the same way you came in by the same route to the Guápiles area.
Here your tour guide and transportation will stop for lunch, and here your car will be waiting for you, so you can head to your next destination.
From the Caribbean plains you will drive to the region of Arenal. An area crowned by the Arenal Volcano that will astonish you for the beauty of its rainforests, the fantastic array of colorful birds, the usual sounds of toucans and howler monkeys and, of course the view of the colossus above all.
The schedules and the order of the activities in Tortuguero are defined by the guide the first day depending on the conditions of the climate and the behavior of the animals.
Arenal
Here you can find the Arenal Volcano National Park with its famous volcano with the same name, situated in the flatlands of San Carlos and near the town of La Fortuna.
In this area you will also find magnificent thermal waters and a large offer from adventure activities, to hanging bridges, La Fortuna waterfall up to canopy and rafting.

Monteverde
The Monteverde Cloud Forest Biological Reserve, near the Santa Elena village, in an area where the region´s biodiversity and water sources that fill various rivers in the country are protected.

This region is a destination for nature and adventure lovers. It is lush all year round, with fresh and delicious weather, breathtaking sceneries, and exceptional biodiversity.

Tamarindo
After breakfast you will start your way to the zone of Guanacaste, which stands out by its white sand beaches, its warm weather and assortment of activities as fishing, horseback riding, hiking, snorkeling, diving and visits to natural reserves.
