Get to know the country’s history in the town of Turrialba

Costa Rica’s history is alive in Turrialba, one of its oldest towns. Turrialba is found in the Cartago province, where you can appreciate in great detail the pre-columbian ruins created by Costa Rican ancestors in Guayabo. You can also go rafting and visit the Turrialba Volcano National Park, one of the few places in the country where you can actually enter a volcano’s crater.
