There’s a wonderful forest in San José province, and in it is hidden a small town named San Gerardo de Dota. This village lives in harmony with the tropical cloud forest ecosystem that surrounds it, making it an amazing place for birdwatching. San Gerardo de Dota is extremely close to Los Quetzales National Park, which contains a surprising biodiversity through the joining of three forests and fourteen different biological ecosystems.
