Be sure to bring binoculars because you’ll probably spot some scarlet macaws flying by!

My favorite Costa Rica beach…. the water was crystal clear and the sand was sooooo soft that Julie and I gave ourselves a sand spa treatment – our skin is silky and glowing still. What a treasure that places like this exist… makes me even more motivated to protect our momma earth! #costarica #puravida #oceanmedicine #bestbeachever #playabarrigona #ilovemommaearth
5. Playa Chiquita
True to its name, Playa Chiquita is small and nestled into the South Caribbean coast. Because of being less crowded than other beaches in Puerto Viejo, its water is calm, cool, and replete with coral to admire.
We highly recommend renting a bicycle and taking a ride to the beauty of Playa Chiquita!
6. Playa Hermosa, Santa Teresa
At one end of the town of Santa Teresa lies Playa Hermosa, a quiet, peaceful paradise great to watch the sunset from.
